For our date night, my wife and I decided to check out Rebel Kitchen and we were not disappointed! Service was great, food came out pretty fast, and the happy hour menu made it a little easier on our wallet. We got the carne asada fries for an appetizer (coming from California, it was delicious and we highly recommended. It was also a good portion and we had already eaten half by the time I took the picture ), braised beef rib over polenta, spinach and artichoke dip, and a burrata peach and prosciutto salad. It was plenty of food for the both of us and they were also able to modify dishes to make them gluten free! Will definitely be coming back to try other dishes!!
We sat outside, which had a lovely covered area, so the sun wasn't too hot. They had music going the whole time, but it wasn't too loud or too soft. A nice noise level. Our food was delicious. I got the brussel sprouts, which were amazing, maybe even the best I've had. Hubby got the burger and upgraded his fries to the truffle fries. Both did not disappoint! I also got the burrata salad, which was very flavorful and fresh. We will be back again as all the food is delicious and we want to try more things on the menu. Great new place for us. The salads were different and delicious. The beat salad, which I had, was great. The pear salad my wife had was great, too. It was almost like being on vacation, not far from home. Will definitely be back.
We celebrated my baby shower at Rebel just recently and I could not recommend it more! The food was great, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was amazing, everyone went above and beyond. Thanks to Jonny for helping with the planning. The guests and I had a wonderful time. Thank you!
So glad downtown Lombard got another great restaurant. I live a few blocks away and Rebel is the perfect date night spot. Menu is sophisticated yet not too fancy. Great place to grab a drink after work, they have a beautiful bar. Revel burger and coconut shrimp are pictured. Rebel burger is an elevated Big Mac, and so delicious!
Drove by this place on my way home from work and just randomly pulled over, parked and went inside. Greeted by a smiling friendly face - good first impression. Then our server walked over and introduced herself; Sabrina is top notch! She went over the menu and made a few recommendations. The hummus is s must order! The meatball trio is outstanding! Overall excellent first experience. I’ve been back 5 times in a month and it’s now a regular stop. Huge shout out to Alexandra as well - thanks to her I am hooked on the polenta! Best I’ve ever had ever! Came in a week later and she remembered me and what I ordered, so wonderful to have servers that are exceptional and actually care for the customers. Looking forward to trying the shrimp and then the fish and chips and many more amazing dinners and I’m pretty sure by next month I will have enjoyed everything on the menu! Overall: comfortable great place with exceptional menu and perfect staff!
Worth the every second of our 20 minute drive here! The place is comforting, the waitress was friendly as well as thorough. Food was served quickly and all was delectable.
This was our second visit here. We live very far away but were in the neighborhood again for a basketball game so we made a return trip. We really enjoyed our first meal here last year. It was midday so we had the Italian beef egg roll appetizer. They were delicious! I followed with a Caesar salad for lunch while my wife had the Double chocolate pancakes. We both thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. Our server was fantastic and it made for an all around positive experience! My one complaint is that it is quite loud in the dining room. Lots of people, so lots of noise. That aside, we'll definitely be back when we're in the neighborhood again!
